With the 2022/23 season closing, the Class goes into its end of cycle activities.
The Class has had another enormous year with dozens of events happening across the country and now just under 350 members. We had bumper attendances at State Championships, Traveler Series showcased the Class in Queensland, NSW, Vico and WA and we had a fantastic Nationals with 145 racing at Lake Cootharbra. But if you want to get involved here's your chance because its election season! Steps 1. All National Committee positions become vacant. 2. Committee positions are open to all members to nominate for the upcoming 23/24 season. You can nominate yourself or someone else. Details of the roles available and expectations of activity and time commitment are available at the secure online nomination site Nominations are now open and will close at midnight 15 June 2023 3. Once nominations are complete, an online vote will be held with all members eligible to participate This will happen from June 16-23, 2023. Also during the voting members will be asked to vote on transitioning the Class to a more formal incorporated association structure. This is recommended by the 2022/23 Committee after a review of the current Class structure and forward requirements. You can read the discussion paper here. 4. The Class Annual Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 28th June @ 7.30 EST via this zoom meeting link The new 23/24 committee will be announced at that time.
